My favorite art work
Minyma Tjuta Tjukurpa
Minyma Tjuta Tjukurpa which is the name of a famous Aboriginal piece of art made by Wingu Tingima on 2007. what made me interested this piece of art is its big size and pretty bright colours and even its story that i foun different and more realistic than the other Aboriginal stories. This painting is about 7 sisters were travelling cross the lands with each other and they were followed by an old man who wanted to get one of them for his wife. The man has tried to take one of them in many ways, but at the end he wasn't able to catch any of them, in fact the 7 sisters came to the man and killed him and even ate him. this was the story of the painting that attracted me whic.h is a bright contemporary painting made by woman.

Before the Art Gallery Excursion
On the 20th of October there was an excursion to the art gallery of NSW. And the purpose of the excursion is to get to know the Aboriginal art in its many forms the Contemporary and the traditional. I was expecting to see a small gallery that has only paintings of the aboriginal people with its story description and some of the Australian modern arts, and i thought i will see aboriginal people to represent their arts and stories.

excursion next week to the art gallery
We are planning on the 20th of October to go on an excursion to the art gallery. This will be on our listening class and it will be our second assessment in that class.
In our excursion we will take notes from listening to the tour guide and then we will answer a sheet of questions. For instance, we are planning to go by train as groups and we will meet our listening teacher in the st James station and after that we will walk to the art gallery.
direction from st James station.
over there we will see many different arts from traditional to contemporary and from Asian to Aboriginal.
