My favorite art work
Minyma Tjuta Tjukurpa
Minyma Tjuta Tjukurpa which is the name of a famous Aboriginal piece of art made by Wingu Tingima on 2007. what made me interested this piece of art is its big size and pretty bright colours and even its story that i foun different and more realistic than the other Aboriginal stories. This painting is about 7 sisters were travelling cross the lands with each other and they were followed by an old man who wanted to get one of them for his wife. The man has tried to take one of them in many ways, but at the end he wasn't able to catch any of them, in fact the 7 sisters came to the man and killed him and even ate him. this was the story of the painting that attracted me whic.h is a bright contemporary painting made by woman.

Before the Art Gallery Excursion
On the 20th of October there was an excursion to the art gallery of NSW. And the purpose of the excursion is to get to know the Aboriginal art in its many forms the Contemporary and the traditional. I was expecting to see a small gallery that has only paintings of the aboriginal people with its story description and some of the Australian modern arts, and i thought i will see aboriginal people to represent their arts and stories.

excursion next week to the art gallery
We are planning on the 20th of October to go on an excursion to the art gallery. This will be on our listening class and it will be our second assessment in that class.
In our excursion we will take notes from listening to the tour guide and then we will answer a sheet of questions. For instance, we are planning to go by train as groups and we will meet our listening teacher in the st James station and after that we will walk to the art gallery.
direction from st James station.
over there we will see many different arts from traditional to contemporary and from Asian to Aboriginal.

Three Ways Twitter is Used in Academic Studies:
Twitter is an important and popular site of social media, people can post information that has up to 140 characters and People after that can follow each other. One of the ways that Twitter can be useful in Academic studies is the huge amount of comments that you could have, only by posting a question or an article or anything that you like to you could have a big amount of replays from various people so twitter could be use as a way to get feedbacks, and in order to let people find your post you could use the hashtag (#) by putting it before any keyword that presents your text.
Another thing that Twitter could be helpful in is bringing closer the students and the teachers, by this I mean that any class could make a special hashtag fo the class and then write his question and when tweeting his post his friend or teachers will be able to see his question and then they could help out each other.
The third and the last thing I am going to talk about is finding information, what i mean here that any student can be in a hurry sometimes and he wants to find information about the topic that he has to write about or the assignment that he has to complete, this student can follow his other friends or his favorite professors and authors and this is a way to find information, another way is that any student can find information by entering the name of his topics in the hashtag.

Reflection on Delicious Bookmark:
Delicious Bookmark which is a site that you can save and share links that you like and you're interested in. This site could be really useful in academic studies. for an example, i am a student in a course that we study for academic purposes in, i found the site really useful because i found many academic links that are useful for me and i saved them on the delicious bookmark in order to keep it for later, i can either put in privet or public so others can find my links and leave feedback if they like by commenting; in order to find other posts you can search the tags which you can also put when posting any link. Academic students can use delicious bookmark to posts homework or assignment and then their teachers can take a look at it and leave comment about the link, you can also follow other students but searching their user name and they could follow back.
Reflection of using an Email in academic study:
Email protocols an important and essential thing in universities which means it is important in academic studies.
Studying English and dealing with it as my best subject overseas and doing two different courses in English here in Australia made me good in using the proper language in communicating in both ways formal and informal. If i want to send a clear and understandable email to anyone i have to make sure that many things have to go on the right track. One of the many things that i have to do to make sure that the email is good is having a clear subject in order to make the reader able to understand what is the email about just by looking at the subject line and another thing is to use suitable titles such as MR MRS. Not only having a clear subject line make the email better but also to make it clear i always tend to mention my name in the footer of any email and i even mention the course name and the date in the footer and this is a good thing to do in order to have a clear email. Doing this course an the previous one which is English for further studies didn't only teach me the previous steps but also how to keep my email safe and privet and that can be done by using a blind copy and this could be useful when working with classmates in groups.
